This is Frog Free Walking Tour Milan STAFF selection:
Opened in 1996, is the best in town for most of beer-lovers of Milan.
They opened the first one “Birri Vecchio” (Via Adelchi, 5 – Lambrate Area) in 1996. They have a large selection (some of them are seasonal beers) of tasty beers. In 2011 they redouble opening a new one “Birri Nuovo” (Via Golgi,60 – Lambrate Area), bigger and with a fantastic atmosphere, just 200 meters far from the old one. It is possible to have good lunch or dinner or enjoy their Aperitivo (from 6pm to 8pm). Reasonable prices and nice and easy-going people.
You can take a look at their beers here. We really like Sant’Ambroues (Ale in Belgian Strong Golden Ale style) and Lambrate (Ale in Bock style).
Never ask for a small beer or anything else (to drink!)!
