Today we are here to give you some advices to be sure to have your tickets for the last supper and enjoy it as much as you can.
First of all some infromation about this famous paint.
In italian Cenacolo Vinciano o L’ultima Cena the last supper is a late 15th-century painting by that great and genius artist called Leonardo da Vinci. It is located in the refectory of the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan.
So..is it possible to see last supper without reservation? Many people are having problems to find tickets, and now we will explain some tricks!
– First of all you need to plan the visit weeks before; the reason is that entrance is allowed just for 25 people each time, to preserve integrity of the paint, and many visitors every day want to visit it.
– Reservation to visit the Last Supper is compulsory and must be done here or calling directly the number +39 02 92800360
– At 9:30 am and 3:30 pm visits include an English guided tour service with a surplus of 3,50 euro (standard price is 6,50 euro). You can book it calling the infoline to the number above.
But as we are travellers too, so it is more than understandable that for some of you Milan should be a last minute choice for a weekend off or an unexpected stop during your amazing european trip; for this reason we suggest you to go when the ticket office opens (8:15 am! Damn! 🙂 ) asking if someone cancel a reservation for the same day or days after. This is not always valid, and we strongly recommend to book tickets for the last supper, but if you have not other choice at least try this solution.
The permanent exhibition it is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 8:15am to 7pm, last admittance at 6:45pm.
It is easily reachable by public transports: tram (Number 18 Stop Corso Magenta – Santa Maria delle Grazie) or by metro (Red Line MM1 Conciliazione or Cadorna stop)
